My Favorite Spring Pieces
Now that spring is here, with cool mornings and evenings, and warm sunny afternoons. Spending the day outside enjoying nature, looking at the beautiful flowers and riding my bicycle are my favorite things to do during this time of the year. Getting inspired every day is much easier. Florals, pastel colors and a layering piece are a must for your spring wardrobe.
The Silk Cami
I recently purchased two silk camis a black one and a light pink one. I noticed that I have been wearing them everywhere. They go well with everything and are so easy to layer and dress up or down. You can wear your silk cami with jeans and loafers, with a pencil skirt or with your black trousers and heels for work. I will show you how to wear your silk cami two different ways this spring.
These styles are composed of a light pink silk cami from Hollister, black paperbag pants from Urban Outfitters, Steve Madden platforms and a pink lace coat from makemechic.com. The second outfit is composed of the same cami, boyfriend jeans, pink strappy Betsey Johnson heels and BCBG earrings.
The Floral Dress
Everyone needs a floral dress for spring. I own a couple floral dresses but this Betsey Johnson dress is one of my favorites because of that 50’s touch it has. This dress can be paired with a strappy heel like I did or you can pair it with flats. For a layering piece you can wear a denim jacket, a button up sweater or a trench coat like me. I decided to add this cute basket like handbag that my dad got for me in Mexico a couple years ago for a sweeter look.
This outfit is composed of a Betsey Johnson floral dress, Pink strappy Betsey Johnson heels , a pink lace trench coat from makemechic.com and a basket handbag.
The Trench Coat
Trench coats are perfect for spring and fall. My favorite one for spring is this pink trench coat that I bought at makemechic.com. you can pair your trench coat with a floral dress, a knee length skirt, jeans and trousers.
The Paperbag Pant
These pants are one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I got them about a year ago at urban outfitters and I wear them to the office or out to dinner, or pretty much everywhere. Here are two different looks you can replicate for spring.
This outfit is composed of Urban Outfitters paperbag pants, a cold shoulder white and black top from Marshalls and Jimmy choo pinty toe pumps.
